Our Story

From Frustration to Foundation

Ongadi Studios was born from a simple observation: the technology powering African businesses was almost entirely built elsewhere — with different markets, different infrastructure realities, and different users in mind.

We set out to change that. Starting with deep research into real African business challenges, we began designing and building platforms that actually fit — tools that work on intermittent connections, that understand local payment systems, that speak to the way African businesses actually operate.

Our name, Ongadi, reflects our commitment to building infrastructure that belongs to the continent — technology that grows with Africa, not around it.
